Furthermore takes aim at open source Mambo   PDF  Print  E-mail

A company has written an open letter to the open source community, warning that the use of Mambo OS in any release after the 3rd October 2003 could result in civil litigation and possibly criminal prosecution.

Furthermore claims it owns the code for the appearance and management of the lead story block in Mambo.

It further claims the code was appropriated without its permission and its copyright was attributed to another firm.

It said it is preparing legal action against users of the application, and has provided an open letter outlining its case
